PCI Express DAQ Card with 32 Isolated Digital I/O Channels via DB37 Connector and 32 TTL I/O Channels via 20-Pin Connectors, 3750 Vrms Isolation, CA-4002 Connector Included
PCI Express data acquisition card featuring 32 isolated digital I/O channels available through a DB37 connector and 32 standard TTL digital I/O channels via 20-pin connectors. It provides 3750 Vrms isolation and is designed for industrial automation and high-density digital signal acquisition applications.
The isolated I/O channels use optical transmission to maintain electrical separation between circuit elements, preventing ground loops and protecting the host system from hazardous voltages. Each digital output features a Darlington NPN transistor (sink type for PEX-730) and includes an integrated suppression diode for inductive loads.
Includes CA-4002 connector. Cables and screw terminal blocks are required for operation and are sold separately.
Features:
- PCI Express x1 support
- Supports output status readback
- Supports card ID via SMD switch
- 16-channel optically isolated digital inputs
- 16-channel optically isolated digital outputs (sink type, NPN)

Introduction:
The PEX-730 series provides 32 isolated digital I/O channels (16 DI and 16 DO) and 32 TTL-level digital I/O channels (16 DI and 16 DO). Both isolated input and output channels use optical transmission to maintain electrical isolation and protect the host system.
With 3750 Vrms isolation, input signals can float completely, preventing ground loops and protecting the host computer from damaging voltages. Each digital output uses a Darlington NPN transistor in open-collector configuration and includes an integrated suppression diode for inductive loads.
These cards also include a Card ID switch, allowing multiple cards to be uniquely identified within the same system. The PEX-730 is designed as a direct replacement for the PISO-730U / PISO-730A without requiring any software or driver modifications.
Important note: Digital I/O lines are available through the DB37 and 20-pin connectors on the board. It is recommended to purchase the appropriate cables and terminal breakout boards depending on the signals being used. The compatible accessories are shown in the image below.
