Power transducers are devices capable of transforming or converting a certain type of input energy into another different from the output, they serve to obtain information from physical and chemical environments to obtain electrical signals or impulses and vice versa.
The power transducer is a device that is responsible for measuring electrical parameters (current, voltage, power, frequency, power factor, etc.) and converts it into an industry-standard output signal which is directly proportional to the signal of input provided.
AC / DC current transducers can convert the measured current value into an industrial standard signal of 4..20 mA or 0..10 V and are characterized by low power consumption, measurement scales conveniently configurable by means of DIP switches and high precision guaranteed by the absence of thermal drift. There are several models available with different measurement principles: average rectified, magnetic balance (patented technology), Hall effect, or TRMS with bipolar input range.
