HEAD: support with 2 screw terminals, one for power supply and the other for RS485 communication + 2 slots (with slot we mean only position for the module)
SLOT: position where putting the module (without terminals, only slot) Sometimes these supports are mandatory since there s no other space on terminals, some other times are optional but always useful to save money in cabling, in fact with this support you will use 2 wire for power supply and only 2 wire for the Modbus or Canopen communication.
