UXP 16-Channel Contact Closure Detector Expansion Board
Add Contact Closure to any UXP Port. Switch Closure Input is a vital part of just about any control system. Our contact closure input expansion modules allow you to read 16 switches per expansion, enabling easy detection of external switch status. Multiple expansion modules are easily chained together to read more inputs and are compatible with any of our contact closure input expansion controllers. For instance, if you need your computer to monitor 64 switches, you can use two 32-Channel UXP input expansion controllers or four 16-Channel UXP contact closure input expansion controllers. Combine 16-channel expansions in any combination, up to 256 input channels. This is a UXP expansion device and will only work with controllers for a UXP expansion port, such as Fusion or ProXR UXP series controllers. This device also plugs into the UXP expansion port of our contact closure input devices (which contain a CPU and communications interface port).
Please note: This is an expansion module and must be connected to a compatible board to work. This board will NOT work on its own.
