TSC201

The TSC201 is a compact current sensor with a 1-Wire interface and input range up to 10 A, designed for AC and DC current monitoring. It works with current transformers (CTs) with a 10 A secondary output, enabling accurate indirect measurement of higher currents.

The sensor includes a 16-bit ADC that ensures high-resolution readings, ideal for load monitoring and energy diagnostics. Galvanic isolation between the input and the communication interface provides protection against noise and voltage transients.

The TSC201 is factory calibrated and requires no user adjustment. It installs quickly, saving time and preventing setup errors. Its compact housing allows easy integration into control panels or electrical cabinets.

With its combination of precision, electrical safety, and ease of use, the TSC201 is well suited for both new and existing systems. It is designed to deliver reliable results even in demanding environments.

The sensor operates with a supply voltage of 4 to 5.5 VDC. When connected to a Teracom controller, it receives both power and data via the 1-Wire interface, eliminating the need for separate power lines and simplifying installation.

The update rate depends on the 1-Wire master. Typical Teracom controllers poll the sensor once per second, enabling consistent and near real-time monitoring within the protocol’s practical limits.

The TSC201 is housed in a 2-DIN rail-mountable enclosure, making it suitable for installation in electrical panels and control cabinets. Its rugged design ensures durability and stable performance in industrial environments.
