Industrial IoT Wireless Vibration Temperature Sensor V3
Introducing NCD’s Long Range Industrial IoT Wireless Vibration Temperature Sensor V3, designed for long-distance industrial monitoring. With a wireless mesh networking architecture, this sensor offers a range of up to 2 miles. It incorporates a 16-bit vibration and temperature sensor, capable of transmitting highly accurate vibration and temperature data at user-defined intervals. Thanks to built-in FFT, the sensor can send computed results or RAW data for further processing by the user.
Packed with features such as acceleration and velocity calculation, RMS and maximum vibration readings, and time-domain data analysis for FFT, this all-in-one sensor is highly configurable. It samples 2048 data points for each axis, calculates vibration metrics, combines this information with temperature data, and transmits the results to modems and gateways. After transmission, the sensor enters sleep mode to conserve energy.
Powered by six AA batteries, the sensor supports up to 500,000 wireless transmissions, with a battery life expectancy of 10 years depending on environmental conditions and transmission intervals. It also supports external power, making it ideal for industrial equipment monitoring systems.
With an open communication protocol, the sensor securely transmits encrypted data that integrates seamlessly with various platforms, including PCs, Raspberry Pi, Losant IoT cloud, Microsoft® Azure® IoT, and embedded systems. Users can modify sensor parameters and wireless settings using free LabVIEW® monitoring software.
