I-2532

The fiber optic transmission medium is a good material to protect the data transmission from EMI / RFI interference. It has been used in very large and hostile environments. The CAN bus is famous in industrial applications and in order to solve the problem between the use of different transmission media, I-2532 is specially designed to convert the electric CAN bus to optical fiber.

The length of the fiber between two I-2532 can be up to 1.4 km (4593 ft). I-2532 is the economical solution for applications where it is required to protect the transmission of data from electrical exposures, overvoltages, light or chemical corrosion.
