Simultaneous sampling analog input module with 16-bit resolution and a sampling rate of 1.33 MS/s.
The USB-1604HS-2AO is a high-speed multifunction module for measurement and control, supported by Microsoft® Windows® operating systems. It features 4 single-ended 16-bit analog inputs, with one A/D converter per channel and a maximum sampling rate of 1.333 MHz per channel. The input range is software programmable for ±10 V, ±2.5 V, or ±500 mV. It also has 2 16-bit analog outputs of ±10 V, capable of generating waveforms of up to 1 MHz per channel; 16 synchronous digital inputs and 16 digital outputs. It includes four 16-bit or 32-bit counters; 2 PWM generators; and three 16-bit or 32-bit quadrature detectors for measuring linear and radial position.
A 68-pin SCSI connector provides connections for all inputs and outputs. Six BNC connectors provide alternate connections for the four analog inputs, external clock, and external digital trigger.
The USB-1604HS-2AO simultaneously samples all analog inputs, digital inputs, and counter inputs. It can synchronize AI and DIO operations at 1 MS/s, with an aggregate performance of 8 MS/s.
A 500 V isolation barrier protects the computer from ground spikes and ensures safe data transmission. The high-speed USB 2.0 controller transfers data at speeds of up to 480 Mbps.
The device is powered by an external 9 VDC 1 A power supply included in the package.
