Gateway to connect an EtherNet/IP Scanner and Ethernet TCP/IP Device(s). Mounting: Din Rail, without Power Supply. Platform N34: 1x 5Pin Screw Terminal (RS232/485/422), 1x DB9 Port (RS232/485/422), 1x Ethernet RJ45. Barrel plug for power supply. The 460ESTCP allows you to move ASCII data inside TCP/IP packets to an EtherNet/IP PLC. It’s a simple solution that allows you to pass TCP socket connection data to an EtherNet/IP PLC. It allows you to interpret the ASCII data strings into meaningful data types for use in your PLC.
Up to 480 bytes of data can be mapped in each direction between EtherNet/IP and up to 10 Ethernet TCP/IP devices. Data coming from the TCP/IP device(s) can be parsed into up to 50 segments. Each segment can be assigned a data type and delivered to a user defined data location on EtherNet/IP. Data location on EtherNet/IP can be concatenated into a single string of data and deliver to your TCP/IP device.
It’s really that simple. Need to modify your data as it passes from one protocol to the other? No problem. Each data mapping you apply can be modified with up to 3 mathematic functions. Add 4 to a value, multiply by 4 and divide by 10 with ease.
